My First Home Workout

I want to share my fitness journey from the beginning. Due to work and school, going to the gym was not an option, not including the fact that it was out of my budget. I knew I had to do something, so I looked up workouts.

I use Instagram intentionally, and there are so many resources that help show ideas of what you can put into a workout. I’ll make an official page to share what I have saved soon, but for now, I’ll share what my first routine entailed.

Stretching is important before and after a workout. I used various stretching apps that are free, and you need to check them out to see which one is a fit for you. They all have great stretches, but it is all about where you are in your journey. Remember, do not overly exert yourself because of an expectation placed on you. Listen to your body.

Confession time: For months, I could only do stretches for 15 minutes a day. I tried my best to make it every day, but that was unrealistic given the circumstances. I kept trying, and the more consistent I was, the more energy I had, and I noticed I could do more each time.

Here is a resource for those who are starting where I did. We all have to start somewhere, and this is where I started. Choose to start again. I believe in you.
